Has positive thinking or power of attraction helped?

power positive thinking
JaneA asked:

I’ve seen in work in other areas of my life, but what if I have a sick dog and I want her to get better? If I imagine her getting well do you think that she will?
I have already taken action, my dog has been to the vet, is taking medicine and is on crate rest. I understand that there is action needed to have results, but in the mean time, what about my thought process?

the idea is ludicrous. it is not positive thinking that leads to a happy life. it is low expectations. the lower your expectations the higher the level of potential satisfaction you get from what you are wishing for.

if you have high expectations, the level of potential satisfaction of rather low and so even if you get what you want, your will be over all disappointed with the outcome.

take your dog to a vet; don’t leave critical things, like life, to chance

you have done all you can. spend sometime with your dog and keep it company it’ll keep your spirits up along with the dog. you cannot regret much if you know you have done all you can.

If one prays to get selfish results or materialistic tangible results, then, unknowingly, this person is doing nothing more than magic.
Positive thinking is more than this kind of prayer: it is finding within yourself the means to endure and to see what can be positive in a situation. For instance, it might not cure your dog, but it might help the dog to go in serenity, and you to be stronger in this adversity.
As for the law of attraction, I have nothing to say. Nothing.
