What do you think about the power of thought?

power positive thinking
JaneA asked:

What do you think in general, or give specific experiences with the power of thought.

Not to say that one would be immune to negative experiences through positive thinking. But do you think that negative thinking draws negative experiences? Or that positive thinking brings positive experiences?

The power of thought can move mountains. It is not faith that can move mountains, it is thought, the strategic active positive glow of thought.

Negative thinking brings about negative and even deadly world-destructive experiences, while good and genial thoughts can save and develop the world

thus much improving our lot, thus off-setting many conflicts.

Faith, and blind faith, may bring about an irreversible imprisonment of one’s own body and soul, or it may bring about the dream or the effective abandonment to martyrdom and to one’s own bodily death, thus cancelling any whatsoever living possibility of a personal future.

The free power of positive thought, and its expression out into our world’s reality may lead on to an apotheosis of sublime certainty and even of bliss that may be felt as perennial.

The free power of positive personal thought may make it very possible to try and to build up some good glowing memories for a future.

Here’s an answer. It’s not right on. but I’m tired, it you don’t mind.

I was in a dentist chair and going to leave for the pain, and they turned on the music. Then I felt like I could endure it all, as long as they could dish it out. I learned science is saying pain is concentrated thought. If you think about something negative you feel bad. Put enough energy on it and if hurts worse. Think of something positive and you can learn to at least control pain and fear. I haven’t gotten rid of it entirely, but enough. In a way it’s kind of bad, as I can ignore things I should take care of.
Emotional pain and fears are in the same family. Drop negative words and thoughts and you can control them. It’s like this, a word has feelings that go with it. Feelings have ideas behind them. Change the idea change the feeling. Take a word or idea and feel the feeling that comes with it. Don’t like it, change the word or correct the meaning of the word or idea. Since all is ideas then, all is logical or illogical and can be tested.
OK, so. If you listen to your intuition, the intuition guides you what to say, think, feel, where to get information, what not to say etc. Of course you can test it or ignore it.
If you think all that’s not so, think of this. Einstein said, that The only real valuable thing is intuition. He stated that he got his theories from intuition, and that he was no genius. Genius is leaning all you can and using you intuition. Of course there are other worthwhile things and techniques to use with it, but whole brain thinking is a million times faster than the conscious mind. Do you know the different between 50 bytes per second and 50 megabytes per second. Those are the speeds.
Now. Even if that all takes a little effort, and you should really look up Emotional Intelligence also. Just the easy, clear and usable stuff. You know. Think big and keep it simple. But you must relax, even in the middle of a basketball game, and listen to the intuition. By listening you are not thinking about your ego or your emotions, but taking directions from that inner voice, your muse, your inspiration, the whole mind, the holy spirit, God, whatever you want to call it. A little conversation that tells you what to do, builds confidence. because it works and you become an anwser machine. Emotions get in the way as do biased words, prejudice and preconceived notions. Just a scientific calculator, an objective answer machine. Does fear make any sense in a tense critical situation. No. only relaxing focusing entirely upon the thoughts at any speed you want or can master. There, the secret of genius in a nutshell. No magic, all science. People do it naturally. You’ll do it better, as you’ll know exactly what you’re doing. That’s the advantage of suffering, no one else has the motivation and will just say, isn’t that interesting, but the meek and downtrodden will inherit the earth. They can’t ignore it or are too wise to.
You can’t worry about your fears and think at the same time. You have to chose. Fears wont save you past a certain point. Fear gears you for action. Relaxation and love, positive thoughts, gears you for thinking. It’s a matter of choice of direction. Since your not going anywhere, thinking needs lower energy than fear. Thinking can help you out of a situation. Fear can’t. Unless you have to run and even then it makes you out of breath. So much for fear.
